Two Quilt Tutorials Every Beginner Should Save

Hello friend, I have two new quilt tutorials to share with you this week. There are so many variations to the Irish Chain Block. This one has a wider "chain" and is not made with a nine patch but four patches instead. Great beginner block to know how to sew. Change the layout to create completely different patterns all with this one block. The second tutorial is a little more personal, how to finish an unfinished quilt with imperfections. I finally finished a friend's very first quilt that had been sitting unfinished for more than 40 years. It wasn't perfect. It had incorrect cut fabric pieces, construction issues, and plenty of beginner mistakes. Instead of trying to hide them, I share exactly how I worked through the imperfections to turn it into a finished quilt.
