New Beginner Crochet Pattern – Ripple Waves 🌊

If you’ve been wanting to crochet something beautiful and relaxing, I’ve got you covered! My new Double Crochet Pattern for Beginners – Ripple Waves Throw is the perfect project to ease into pattern reading and create a stunning wavy texture using just simple stitches.

You’ll learn the gentle peak-and-valley ripple technique that’s beginner-friendly and works up fast. Perfect for blankets, scarves, or any cozy project.

The double crochet stitch is the most popular stitch in all crochet. This pattern is done with all double crochets but it's not a boring project AT ALL. There is a one row repeat using double crochet increases and decreases to keep it fun and give your blanket personality and lots of charm.

You will also be working in the back loop to create a ridge in the waves. Use one color or follow my pattern and color way. Finished blanket size 41.5″ x 52.5″ but I show you the stitch info so you can make it any size you want.

Hi friends, I just shared a brand new blog post all about a finished quilt I made early in my quilting journey — and it’s one of the very few paid quilt patterns I’ve ever purchased. In the post, I’m reviewing the Brightly quilt pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew and talking honestly about: Why this pattern worked so well for a beginner Cutting lots of different fabric sizes (and why that’s actually a good thing) What “scant 1/4 inch seam” means now (not what I thought it meant back then 😅) Why...

I just released a FREE Retro Granny Stripe Crochet Poncho Pattern, and honestly… I’m obsessed with how it turned out. It’s bright, funky, changes colors every round, and it gives off major “cool grandma but make it fashion” energy. This poncho is beginner-friendly, works up fast, and is one of those rhythmic, zone-out-and-crochet projects we all need right...
